Dragon Trainer is the name of a highly successful animated film series produced by Dreamworks and based on the book of the same name by Cressida Cowell. Currently, three films and two series have been produced.
What are Dragon Trainer games?
When an animated film enjoys such great success, toys are bound to follow. The Canadian company Spin Master has produced beautiful Dragon Trainer toys, especially action figures, in various types and sizes, featuring all the dragons that star in the film.

Sdentato Dragon Trainer Games
Naturally, the star of Dragon Trainer games is him, Sdentato (“Toothless”), the Night Fury, Hiccup’s loyal friend. The two meet in the first film of the series when the Vikings of Berk were still at war with the dragons. It’s a difficult relationship, but little by little, young Hiccup manages to win over his friend Sdentato’s trust. Sdentato is a Night Fury—and likely the last of his kind, the most feared and powerful dragon species.
Spin Master has therefore created several sets dedicated to Sdentato Dragon Trainer, which will bring back to life the epic battles fought by the Night Fury in the first and second installments.
Which dragons appear in Dragon Trainer games?
Action figures
Spin Master has produced, if not all, certainly the main dragons that appear in the series. So it’s not just Sdentato—there are also the stunning Stormfly, Astrid’s Zippleback, Gobber, Fishlegs’ Gronkle, Hookfang, Toothless’ Hideous Zippleback, and many others. Of course, the film’s most villainous characters are also included, among them the gigantic Alpha and Drago.
Playmobil Dragons
The world-famous German company has produced two entire series dedicated to Dragon Trainer, called Playmobil Dragons. As usual, the sets are of excellent quality and allow you to play with virtually all the characters from the three films in the saga. One of the best features of Playmobil sets is their expandability—you can mix Dragon Trainer characters with those from other series for hours and hours of fun.
