Monster High is a series of dolls produced by Mattel starting in 2010. It is the first brand produced in-house by the American giant since Hot Wheels in 1968.

The series, from which cartoons, movies, and even a musical have been adapted, deals with the lives of the daughters and teenage sons of history’s most famous monsters: Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy are just some of the famous parents.
The boys all attend a high school, Monster High (School) precisely, and references to another school, Ever After High, where the daughters and sons of the fairy tale characters study, are frequent in the series. Ever After High is another Mattel toy series from which the cartoon of the same name was based.
Amid new friends and a few enemies, the girls have many adventures, bravely defying a world that is not yet ready to accept them.
Monster High Dolls
Monster High dolls have little in common with the more famous Barbie, Mattel’s iconic brand, and are even seen in competition with each other.

Clawdeen Wolf
Clawdeen Wold is the daughter of the wolf. Clawdeen is sixteen years old and comes from a fairly large family, although she has only known three siblings so far (Clawdia, Clawd, and Howleen). Her best friends are Frankie Stein and Draculaura. She complains about her younger sister Howleen (with whom she shares a bunk bed) because Howleen often borrows her clothes, constantly bites her shoes, and wipes her nose on her jackets.

Clawdeen has trouble keeping his werewolf side in check. The animalistic side of her personality can emerge at the sight of a full moon or any other source of light as brightly as in the episode “Talon Show.” She is very strong, and can even lift three ghoulfriends -or mostramica- in cheerleading practice. Clawdeen dreams of owning her own fashion design brand and is a true athlete.
Clawdeen has a purple kitten named Crescent.

Cleo de Nile
Cleo de Nile is the daughter of a mummy named Ramses de Nile and the younger sister of Nefera. She is an impressive 5,842 years old. Her clothing is made of bandages and gold in her hair. Cleo does not get along with Nephera because Nephera uses every opportunity she can to humiliate her and get her into trouble with her father.

Cleo is considered spoiled, but she sometimes helps her friends if necessary. Cleo has a good heart, but she hides it behind her popularity. Cleo is also the tallest girl in her group of friends. She is the leader of the fearleading team. Her true love is Deuce Gorgon.

Draculaura
Draculaura is, of course, the daughter of the famous Count Dracula. She is a pink-skinned vampire with pink and black hair.

Draculaura is a vegetarian; in fact, she does not eat blood or meat. She is the girlfriend of Clawd Wolf, Clawdeen’s older brother, and has an animal bat named Count Fabulous, and she loves the color pink. Draculaura is one of the most popular monsters at school because of her spontaneous and outgoing personality. In Frights, Camera, Action, Draculaura ends up getting her vampire powers after helping Elissabat.

Frankie Stein
Frankie Stein is the daughter of Frankenstein’s monster and his wife and, therefore, the granddaughter of Baron Victor Von Frankenstein.
Frankieis the sweetest and most affectionate girl in Monster High, and she believes that everyone’s flaws make them unique. She is only 15 days old and is the youngest student at Monster High. She is very optimistic and never gives up in the face of adversity. However, since all her knowledge about teenage relationships comes from magazines, she is definitely a bit naive and inexperienced in teenage matters.

She has a greenish complexion, different colored eyes, and hair that is half white and half black. She must be recharged every night and can use electricity on command. Her arms and legs are literally sewn together and sometimes tend to fall off but can still be controlled by Frankie who uses this feature to help friends in need. She has a “crush,” reciprocated, on Neighthan Rot.

Ghoulia Yelps
Ghoulia Yelps is the daughter of a zombie couple, Cleo’s personal assistant and her best friend. She is 16 years old and owns a baby blue owl named Sir Hoots-a-Lot. She is the smartest Ghoul in Monster High even though she can only speak in typical zombie grunts. She is very shy but thanks to her friendship with Cleo de Nile, she has greatly improved her social relationships.

She likes Slo-Moe, a very tall zombie on the chess team.

Lagoona Blue
Lagoona Blue is the daughter of the Monster of the Lagoon. She is a sweet and gentle ghoul with long blond hair, a tomboy style, and loves to swim.
