Today we wanted to have some fun with two sets of Masha and Bear constructions from PlayBIG Bloxx dedicated to the popular cartoon aired on Rai YoYo. For those (?) still not familiar with this cartoon, well know that it is hilarious. It tells the adventures of little Masha, a cute and lively little girl, and her friend Bear, a former circus performer, now retired to a solitary life (well at least that was his intention) in the forest. Loosely inspired by Russian tradition-just see little Masha’s little dress to realize it-it is a beloved cartoon for children and young teens.
Returning to our constructions, Masha’s train is a toy suitable for children from 1½ to 5 years old. A quality product of Germany’s BIG, part of the Simba Dickie Group and licensee of the Masha and Bear title, it consists of 32 pieces. Inside the set are the train, with an engine and two cars, a tree, a level crossing, a traffic light, two brick-stickers with a pig and a baby goat, and 12 tracks that can join together forming a circle.
The second set, Misha’s Tea Time or Tea Time with Bear (Misha is Bear’s name in English – translated from Russian). Much simpler than the former, it consists of 11 pieces. It is worth buying because it features Bear, the other protagonist of the series, inside. Two chairs, a samovar, two tea cups, a sugar bowl and milk jug complete the set. In short, everything you need to organize the five o’clock tea party in the company of Masha and Bear.
Both sets, like all products in the PlayBIG Bloxx series, are compatible with the very popular Lego Duplo bricks, which is important so you can expand the game by taking advantage of the other buildings you probably already have in your home.
