Are you ready to don your proton packs again? 2016 will be the year of ghostbusters. Along with the movie reboot with Ghostbuster 3 the world’s most famous brick house has announced the release of the LEGO 75827 Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters.

When the LEGO 75827 Ghostbusters will be released in stores

LEGO 75827 Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (i.e., Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters) is scheduled to be released in January 2016 according to reports from the LEGO online shop priced at $349.99. That’s a hefty price for a very complete set that allows you to relive many of the situations from the cult 1980s film devoted to the adventures of the ghostbusters played by Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson.

What the LEGO 75827 set contains

As we said, the LEGO 75827 Ghostbusters set is very complete. The centerpiece is obviously the building, the firehouse used by the Ghostbusters as their headquarters. The building, true to the real one, in full New York industrial style, opens up completely showing some very detailed interiors that contain some real goodies from the ever-present drop pole to Dr. Egon Spengler’s test machine.

Also available are minifigures of virtually every character from the film. Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore are all featured with the suit and proton backpack. But they could not miss the minifigures of Dana Barrett, Louis, and Janine. Ghosts are also present in the set led by the evergreen Slime.

Are there any other LEGO Ghostbusters sets?

At the moment the only Ghostbusters set available is the LEGO Ideas 21108 Ghostbusters which reproduces the legendary ECTO-1, the ghostbusters’ car. A great alternative for fans waiting for LEGO 75827 Ghostbusters Headquarters due out in January 2016.
