One of the most beloved cartoons right now for children and young people is undoubtedly Jungle Life: to the rescue! currently airing on Rai YoYo.
The original series was made in France where it first aired in 2011. It chronicles the adventures of a group of animals, led by Maurice, the Great Tiger Warrior (who is actually a penguin) who must face a thousand dangers to save other endangered animals. In short, they are the A-Team of the jungle!
The Jungle Life: Operation Walrus movie, released in theaters in 2013, was based on the TV series and was a huge international success. But what’s new about Jungle Life Toys?
Jungle Life Characters: to the rescue
Maurice
He is a penguin, the leader of the Jungle Squad. He is actually a penguin raised and bred by tigers and is convinced that he is one of them. He is extremely strong and skilled in combat and also very intelligent. His battle cry before every attack is “Banzai!”
Junior
He is a goldfish, adopted son of Maurice and, like him, convinced that he is a tiger. Small size should not deceive, Junior is a great fighter, brave and skilled.
Miguel
He is a physically strong gorilla, but at the same time good and somewhat naive. He always speaks in the third person and before each attack utters the phrase Doompi Doompi Do.
Batricia
She is a flying fox, a member of the Jungle Squad. Brave and fearless, her only weakness is her fear of the dark, certainly unusual for a bat. She is openly in love with Gilbert
Gilbert
He is a tarsier and the mastermind of the Jungle Team. He is grouchy and very cocky but is extraordinarily intelligent and has deep learning, skills that make him able to devise sophisticated plans to get his comrades out of trouble. He lives on a branch he is very fond of, carried on his back by the gorilla Miguel. He has a brother named Gildas.
Al and Bob
They are two toads, one big and round and the other skinny and tall. They are members of the Squad but hardly ever actively participate in missions. Before each adventure they always wish the team Good Mission!.
Where can I find Jungle Life: to the rescue toys?
Currently, there are no Jungle Life Toys in production yet. The licenses were purchased by PGS with the intention of leveraging the brand and taking advantage of offers received from large international toy manufacturers. Therefore, it is likely that there will be news soon.
Our son loves the TV series and would surely love to play with Maurice, Junior, Miguel the gorilla, Batricia the bat, and Gilbert.
