The Child is the official name given to the infant belonging to the same species as the legendary Yoda, first introduced in the premiere episode of *The Mandalorian*—a story set in the Star Wars universe, long before the events of the original trilogy. The Child becomes the target of a Mandalorian bounty hunter hired by a wealthy former Imperial officer.
